Losing his sight in 2012 due to Retinitis Pigmentosa could have ended his ambitions, but instead, it became the catalyst for an extraordinary transformation. Refusing to be limited by blindness, Dr. Powell achieved a Doctor of Business Administration,  (DBA) along with multiple advanced degrees in law, business, criminal justice, forensic science, and cybersecurity. His unique blend of academic rigor and real-world resilience has positioned him as a nationally recognized leader in both legal and business spheres.

Founder of The Blind But Not Broken Movement (Established January 2022)

A nationally recognized advocacy initiative, this movement challenges stereotypes, amplifies the voices of blind and sight impaired individuals, and promotes equity and inclusion through public speaking, storytelling, and strategic advocacy.
